Namun tak punya cinta kasih, Ku bagai gong yang bergaung/
But I don’t have a compassionate love, I am like a gong that resonates

Andai imanku mampu pindahkan gunung/
Suppose my faith can move the mountain
Namun tak punya cinta kasih, Ku tiada berguna/
But I don’t have a compassionate love, I am useless

Kasih itu sabar, murah hati, percaya, tak angkuh dan tak dengki/
Love is patient, kind, trust, not proud, and does not envy
Kasih itu tak memegahkan diri, kasih itu kekal serta abadi/
Love does not boast, love is eternal and timeless 

Andaikan aku mendermakan hartaku/
Suppose I donate my treasures
Namun tak punya cinta kasih, tiada berartilah aku/
But I don’t have a compassionate love, I am meaningless
